Zapier connects CloudCard to thousands of other apps without any code. A “Zap” watches for new leads in CloudCard and then does something with each one, for example adding a row to a spreadsheet, adding the person to a mailing list or posting a message to your team.
Before you start
- You need the Admin role in CloudCard. Zapier signs in to CloudCard as you, and only admins can share the organisation’s leads.
- You need a Zapier account. You can create one during setup.
Set up your first Zap
- In the left-hand menu, click Company Settings, then Integrations.
- On the Zapier card, click Launch Zapier setup. You can also get there from the leads page: click Integrate, then Zapier.
- On the Zapier Integration page, use the Zapier workspace to create a Zap. Choose CloudCard as the trigger app, then choose the app and action you want for each new lead.
- When Zapier asks you to connect your CloudCard account, sign in with your CloudCard email address and password and allow access.
- Test the Zap in Zapier, then turn it on.
When you return to the Zapier Integration page, the status shows Connected with how long ago you connected.
What Zapier receives
For each new lead, Zapier gets:
- first name, last name and email address
- company, phone number and job title
- the name of the team member who owns the lead
- when the lead was captured, and a unique lead ID
You can map any of these into the app you’re sending to. Zapier checks CloudCard for new leads on its own schedule, so a lead can take a few minutes to come through.
Disconnect Zapier
- Open the Zapier Integration page.
- Click Disconnect.
This removes Zapier’s access to CloudCard. Your Zaps stay switched on in Zapier, though, so turn them off or delete them in your Zapier account too.
If you can’t open the Zapier page
If you see “You are not authorized to view this Zapier integration.”, Zapier hasn’t been enabled for your organisation yet. Contact support and we’ll help you get set up.
