Connect HubSpot and every lead captured in your organisation, whether from the lead capture form or the AI Scanner, is added to HubSpot as a contact. Your sales team can follow up from the CRM they already use.

Before you start

  • You need the Admin role in CloudCard.
  • You need a HubSpot account that can install apps and create contacts.
  • Lead capture should be on, or there won’t be anything to send. See Turn on the lead capture form.

Connect HubSpot

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Company Settings.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. On the HubSpot card, click Connect HubSpot.
  4. Sign in to HubSpot if asked, choose your HubSpot account, and approve CloudCard’s access to your contacts and companies.
The HubSpot card on the Integrations tab

HubSpot sends you back to your organisation’s leads page. You’ll see either “HubSpot connected and N lead(s) synced!” or “HubSpot connected, but no new leads to sync.” The HubSpot card in Company Settings now shows Connected.

You can also connect from the leads page: click Integrate, then Connect HubSpot.

What gets sent to HubSpot

Each lead becomes a HubSpot contact with:

  • first name, last name and email address
  • company, phone number and job title
  • a message naming the CloudCard team member who captured the lead

If the last name or company is missing, CloudCard sends “N/A” because HubSpot needs a value.

When you connect, all your existing leads are sent straight away. After that, CloudCard sends new leads every hour. If a contact with the same email address already exists in HubSpot, CloudCard leaves the existing contact as it is.

Disconnect HubSpot

  1. Open your organisation’s leads page. In the left-hand menu, click Leads, then View All Leads.
  2. Click Integrate.
  3. Click Disconnect HubSpot.
The Integrate menu on the leads page

You’ll see “HubSpot integration disconnected.” Leads already in HubSpot stay there.

If the connection stops working

If the HubSpot connection expires or someone removes CloudCard’s access in HubSpot, the leads page shows “Your HubSpot connection was disconnected because the token expired or was revoked. Please connect again.” Click Reconnect HubSpot in that message to connect again. Leads captured in the meantime are sent once you reconnect.
