Verify your email address

Why CloudCard asks you to confirm your email, and how to get a new verification link.

On this page

CloudCard asks you to confirm your email address before you can use the dashboard. This proves the address is yours, so sign-in codes and password reset links reach the right person.

When you’ll see this

  • Straight after you create your account. CloudCard sends the verification email automatically.
  • The first time you sign in to an account your company created for you, if your email hasn’t been confirmed yet. In this case no email has been sent yet, so request one using the steps below.

The page is titled Verify Your Email Address.

Steps

  1. Open your inbox and find the verification email from CloudCard. Check your spam or junk folder too.
  2. If there’s no email, click Request another verification email. You’ll see “A fresh verification link has been sent to your email address.”
  3. Click the button in the email.

Your email is now verified. If you signed up yourself, CloudCard takes you on to choose a plan and then the setup wizard. Otherwise you’ll land on your dashboard.

If it doesn’t work

  • Still no email after a few minutes? Check that the address shown in the top-right corner of the dashboard is correct. Ask your admin to fix it if it’s wrong.
  • The link has expired or doesn’t work? Go back to the dashboard and click Request another verification email. Only the newest link counts.
  • Clicking the button many times? Requests are limited to a few per minute. Wait a minute before trying again.
