Invoices and billing history

Find past payments, download tax invoices, and see who receives invoices by email.

Every payment CloudCard takes from your organisation is listed in Billing History, and you can download the tax invoice for each paid one.

Invoices by email

After each successful payment, CloudCard emails a payment confirmation with the tax invoice attached. If the invoice isn’t ready yet, the email says so and the invoice follows in a separate email.

These emails go to the Billing Email in your billing details, with the Second Billing Email copied in if you’ve added one. To change where they go, see Update your billing details.

View your billing history

  1. In the left menu, click Subscription.
  2. Scroll down to Billing History.

Each row shows the Invoice, Billing Date, Status, Amount, Method and Plan. The status is one of:

  • Paid: the payment went through.
  • Pending: CloudCard is waiting for PayFast to confirm the payment, or an EFT invoice is waiting for payment.
  • Failed: the payment was declined. See When a payment fails.
  • Card linked: a card was saved for future payments. Nothing was charged.

Older invoices appear below your recent transactions.

Download an invoice

  1. In Billing History, find the paid row.
  2. Click the three-dot menu in the Action column.
  3. Click Download Invoice.

The invoice downloads as a file. If Download Invoice isn’t in the menu, the invoice is still being prepared. Check again later.

Ask CloudCard to cancel an invoice

If an invoice is wrong, you can ask the support team to cancel it.

  1. In the row’s three-dot menu, click Cancel Invoice.
  2. Confirm with Yes, cancel.

This sends a request to CloudCard. It doesn’t cancel the invoice straight away. You’ll see “Your request has been sent to our support team, we will be in touch.”
