Add your card to your wallet or home screen
Keep your QR code one tap away on Android with Google Wallet, Samsung Wallet or the CloudCard home-screen widget, even offline.
You don’t have to open the app to share your card. A wallet pass or the home-screen widget shows your QR code straight away, even with no signal.
Add to Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet
- On the Card tab, tap Add to wallet.
- Tap Add to Google Wallet. On a Samsung phone you can tap Add to Samsung Wallet instead.
- Follow your wallet app’s steps to save the pass.
You need a connection to add the pass. Once it’s added, it works offline. See Add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for what the pass shows.
Add the home-screen widget
The widget shows your card’s QR code on your home screen.
- Press and hold an empty space on your home screen.
- Tap Widgets.
- Find CloudCard and drag the widget onto your home screen.
The widget shows the card of the organisation you last chose in the app.
If the widget shows a message instead of your QR code:
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| “Sign in to CloudCard” | Open the app and sign in. |
| “Open CloudCard to load your card” | Open the app once while you’re online. |
| “Turn on Stay signed in to keep your QR code here” | Sign out, then sign in again with Stay signed in ticked. |
