Delete your account in the app

You can delete your CloudCard account from the app. It works the same way as on the web. See Delete your account for exactly what’s deleted and what’s kept.

Before you start

• If you pay through Google Play, cancel the subscription first. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel it. See Upgrade or manage your plan in the app.
• If you’re the last admin of an organisation with other members, make someone else an admin first. See Make someone an admin.

Steps

1. Go to Settings. Under Account, tap Delete account.
2. Read what will happen to each of your organisations. Each one is marked Deleted, Stays or Blocked.
3. Type DELETE in capitals in Type DELETE.
4. Enter Your password. If you sign in with Microsoft and don’t have a password, tap No password? Email me a code instead and enter the code.
5. Tap Delete my account.

You’ll see “Your account has been deleted.” We email you how to restore it.

Changed your mind before step 5? Tap Keep my account.

If the screen says You can’t delete your account yet, it explains why, for example that you’re the last administrator of an organisation.
