My card says "Card not available" or "Not found"
What the different card error pages mean and how to get your card link working again.
On this page
Your card’s address is https://app.cloudcard.co.za/your-company/your-name on CloudCard. If someone opens it and gets an error page instead of your card, the message tells you why.
“403 | Card not available.”
The person who owns the card has been deactivated by an admin.
- Fix: an admin reactivates the user from Team Members. See “Your account is suspended”.
“404 | Not Found”
CloudCard couldn’t find a card at that address. The usual causes are:
- The link has a typo, or part of it was cut off when it was copied. Copy your link again. See Share your card link.
- The card or user was deleted. An admin can restore a deleted user or card for 14 days. See Restore a deleted user or card.
- The user was moved to a different organisation. The card address includes the organisation, so the old link no longer works. Share the new link instead.
- The user only has the Email Signature role, or the organisation is on the Email Signature plan. These don’t include a public digital card.
“404 | Not found” with the CloudCard logo
This page has the CloudCard logo and an image of a broken phone. It means the card itself has been switched off. Contact support to have it switched back on.
“429 | Too Many Requests”
More than 60 card views came from the same network in one minute, for example at an event where everyone shares the same Wi-Fi. Wait a minute and refresh.
What doesn’t break your card
- Renaming a user or your company doesn’t change existing card links.
- A billing problem doesn’t take your card offline. If a payment fails, paid features are switched off, but your card stays live.
