Enrichment matches a lead against a business contact database. It can fill in details such as job title, LinkedIn profile and location, and company facts such as industry, size, website and a short company summary. You review everything before it’s saved.

Before you start

  • Open a lead you own. Admins can enrich any lead in the organisation.
  • If you don’t see Enrich Lead on the lead’s page, enrichment isn’t available for your organisation.

Find details

  1. Open the lead. Click Enrich Lead next to the lead’s name.
  2. Check the search details. They’re filled in from the lead:
    • Email gives the most accurate result (“best match”).
    • Without an email, enter a Name and Company.
  3. Click Find details. You’ll see “Searching for this person…”. This usually takes a few seconds, and up to 20.

Choose what to apply

If there’s a match, you’ll see We found these details, grouped into contact and company details.

  • Each detail shows the value found. If it would overwrite something already on the lead, it says Replaces and the current value.
  • Details the provider couldn’t confirm are marked Unconfirmed. Check these before applying them.
  • Tick the details you want to keep.

Click Apply (the button shows how many fields, for example Apply 3 fields). To try different search details, click Search again.

Along with the fields you tick, CloudCard saves the company summary it found, such as a description, focus areas, technologies and headcount growth.

After you apply

  • The lead’s Details card shows Enriched and the date.
  • The Company Insights tab fills in with the company’s details and summary.
  • The Activities tab records what changed, including the previous values.

If nothing is found

  • “No match found for these details. A fuller or corrected company name may help.” Try adding an email address or correcting the company name.
  • “Found this person — the lead already has everything they could add.” There’s nothing new to apply.
  • “Too many searches in a short time. Wait a minute and try again.” You can run about 12 searches a minute.
